Health
Burns Unit
This is an industry driven initiative by SingHealth to achieve the following objectives: - Establish an ongoing support framework for burns victims.
- Ensure ongoing operations of the skin culture lab to provide a ready and immediate source of skin tissue for grafting when the need arises for burn victims.
- Provide a platform for the petrochemical industry to position themselves as good corporate citizens through a collaborative and leadership approach to an industry issue.
Environment
Litter-Free Initiative
This programme is aimed at changing people's mindset so that they will be socially responsible to upkeep the cleanliness of public places. We work with the National Environment Agency to carry this message in national events such as National Day Parade, outdoor events and schools since 2002. We sponsored the production of plastic bags to be used at these outdoor events.
On 28 October 2003, all Esso and Mobil service stations were declared litter-free. The service stations also "adopt" the public land bordering their stations and help keep it litter-free.
In line with this initiative, the National Parks Board launched its Litter-Free Parks on 15 November 2003 to ensure that events will be litter-free at the parks.

Singapore Botanic Gardens Calendar
ExxonMobil has been sponsoring the production of the Singapore Botanic Gardens' (SBG) calendars with all proceeds of the calendars going to the SBG since 2002.
