SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE AT EXXONMOBIL SINGAPORE'S REFINERY

SINGAPORE, 29 June 2007– ExxonMobil Singapore’s Refinery (Jurong site) has commenced the shut-down of several operating units for planned maintenance beginning 29 June 2007. The overall duration of this maintenance is expected to last about 7 weeks.

This is scheduled maintenance. Shutting the units down will provide an opportunity for detailed inspection of equipment normally in continuous operation; routine maintenance; and installation of facility improvement projects.  Unit shutdowns such as this are infrequent, but are necessary to ensure continued safe and reliable operations.

We have communicated this to our customers and expect to continue to meet their needs.

ExxonMobil has a strong commitment to safety, health and environment and will minimize any impact to the community and the people working in ExxonMobil Singapore's Refinery (Jurong site).
