Singapore, 30 January 2008 – ExxonMobil Asia Pacific Pte Ltd would like to congratulate Mr Ho Wei Xiang for being the lucky winner of the Energy Awareness Radio Quiz which ran on MediaCorp Radio Class 95 FM from 21 to 25 January 2008, from 7.30am to 9.30am daily.  Mr Ho wins S$300 worth of Esso petrol vouchers.

The message and the question were:

We all need energy to function in our daily lives.  According to ExxonMobil’s estimate, demand for energy is growing at an average of 1.3% per year from now till 2030. At that rate, the demand for energy will be one-third higher in 2030 compared to today.

To meet this demand growth, all forms of energy sources like oil, gas, coal, nuclear and renewables will be required.

Please name the three main sources of energy the world has today.
