Singapore, 27 February 2008 – ExxonMobil Asia Pacific Pte Ltd would like to congratulate Ms Irna Juniza for being the lucky winner of the Energy Awareness Radio Quiz which ran on MediaCorp Radio Class 95 FM from 18 to 22 February 2008, from 7.30am to 9.30am daily.  Ms Juniza wins S$300 worth of Esso petrol vouchers.

Supplying energy to growing economies while reducing greenhouse gas emissions, like carbon dioxide, is a global challenge. 

By 2030, experts predict, the world is expected to require 40 percent more energy than in 2005.

Greenhouse gases, like carbon dioxide, are predicted to increase, too.

On a global basis, energy-related carbon dioxide emissions will increase to an annual 37 billion tonnes by 2030, up from 27 billion tonnes in 2005.
