Overview

ExxonMobil’s main presence in Vietnam is through Exploration and Production Vietnam Limited (EMEPVL), which is conducting exploration activities immediately offshore of the Danang area along central Vietnam and also offshore southern Vietnam. The exploration activities include acquiring seismic data and drilling exploratory wells.

Downstream

ExxonMobil Vietnam Holding Company Limited (EMVHCL), the holding company for ExxonMobil’s lubricants and Specialties business in Vietnam, was sold in October 2009.

This transaction does not affect ExxonMobil’s other business interests in Vietnam. In addition, ExxonMobil will continue to serve its existing Vietnam-based International Marine and Aviation lubricant customers. ExxonMobil remains interested and invested in the country.
