Fuels Marketing
Singapore is the regional office for Fuels Marketing in Asia Pacific. The Fuels Marketing business extends from Retail to Industrial and Wholesale, Marine and Aviation.
ExxonMobil Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd., which operates the largest network of service stations in Singapore under the Esso brand, has always been a forerunner in the fuels retail industry here.
Our company was the first to introduce the mini-mart concept at service stations in 1986. The first convenience store that offered fresh food followed in 1989, and our first On The Run premier convenience store, incorporating the best practices of both Esso and Mobil, was opened in 2001.
Since August 2007, all service stations were converted to Esso brand and we continue to offer our customers both value and convenience through our Alliance partner's Fairprice Xpress and Cheers stores.
It is innovations like these, aimed at offering customers quality, more choice and greater convenience that gives us an edge over our competitors.
Singapore is also an important aviation and shipping hub in Asia Pacific and we are major suppliers of aviation and marine fuels. Our outstanding levels of customer service are supported by our refining and distribution operations.
Speedpass
We are the only fuel retailer to offer Speedpass, a unique technology that enables motorists to fill up and drive off without having to pay in-store for the purchase.
Convenience on the go
Esso stations were the first to provide the convenience of AXS terminals which allow customers to pay bills and traffic fines, top up cash cards, purchase movie tickets, access Yellow Pages and perform other services. Also, almost all Esso stations are equipped with DBS ATMs.
Smiles Driver Rewards
Our Smiles Driver Rewards loyalty programme with evergreen Smiles points, continues to delight customers with a host of exclusive privileges, discounts and other conveniences, while our Esso fleet cards have helped many businesses improve fleet efficiency and better manage operational costs.
Industrial and Wholesale
Our Industrial and Wholesale presence in Singapore comprises industrial and domestic cylinder LPG sales and industrial sales of naphtha and diesel.
