Community newsletters

Maintaining open lines of communication and encouraging feedback from the communities where we operate is extremely important to us. The Altona Refinery has had a Community Liaison Committee for more than 17 years. The committee includes community members, as well as representatives from the Environment Protection Authority and local council, who meets quarterly with refinery management to discuss concerns or issues relating to the refinery's operation.

The Yarraville Terminal established its own Community Liaison Committee in 2002. Meetings are held twice a year.

Prior to each Committee meeting a newsletter is distributed widely to residents in the surrounding suburbs.
