The European Technology Center was established at Machelen (north of Brussels)
in 1964. It provides process and product application technology and leads the
creation of business options for tomorrow. The European Technology Center is
one of the three major technology centers ExxonMobil has in the world. In some
areas, its responsibilities cover all continents.
Services Provided
The European Technology Center provides services for all business units within
ExxonMobil Chemical in Europe. They create/apply knowledge and share it
globally to enable our businesses to achieve leading positions in their
targeted markets.

ETC organizes
ESEP: The European Science & Engineering Program. This is a program
that reaches out to academia and independent research institutes, organizes
seminars around specific topics, and grants on a regular basis an award of
considerable monetary importance. Since 1989 it stimulates relations between
ExxonMobil Chemical and the European academic and research community.

determine physical properties, chemical compositions, molecular structure,
