We are jointly owned by the ExxonMobil Global Services Company and Imperial Oil Limited. As an integral part of a network of Business Support Centres around the world, we provide transactional, financial, technical, information service, and customer service support for ExxonMobil's global operations.
Challenging Operations
ExxonMobil relies on information technology to explore, develop, produce and market petroleum and petrochemical products to meet the challenging needs of our customers around the world, including ExxonMobil Business Support Centre Canada's largest customer, Imperial Oil, one of the countries leading companies. At ExxonMobil Business Support Centre Canada ULC (EMBSCC), we support ExxonMobil by meeting these IT needs, both within Canada and globally.
Our support within Canada includes:
- 8,500 users across the country
- Over 200 locations connected into the network through LANs and WANs
- Over 800 servers supporting clients in all of their day-to-day work with over 8 terrabytes of data ready to be accessed
- A retail network bringing together over 2,500 Point of Sale sites
Students and graduates could work on, support, and interact with global business clients from Africa, Middle East, Asia Pacific, Europe, North, South and Central America.
We strive to provide, through partnership with our client organizations, effective and efficient information technology that will facilitate the success of ExxonMobil. Many of our IT people have diverse professional backgrounds, enabling them to rotate between the business and IT organizations.
