The
Beginning of the Pipeline The pipeline starts here, at Kilometer Point Zero, inside the grounds of the central oilfield facility at Komé. The pumps for Pump Station 1 are in the background, and they give the crude oil its first push on the journey of 1,070 kilometers through the export pipeline to the marine terminal off the coast of Cameroon, near Kribi. |
