“Firing Line” These welders are making the first of many welding passes at the seam between two 12-meter long pipes. The team of welders, called the “firing line,” works in careful and ultra-precise coordination as helpers feed them welding rod while boom equipment operators suspend the lengths of pipe in exact alignment. |
