Training Prime contractors for the project set up training programs to improve the skills of their workers. For example, the facilities contractor selected six existing local trade schools and improved their resources and capabilities. The company then contracted with the schools for training classes in welding, electrical work, masonry, plumbing and vehicle repair, among other trades. During the construction phase, the project provided over 200,000 hours of high level skills training to its workers. |
