to the Local Economy Project policies require contractors to purchase locally as much as possible, so contractors set up recruiting programs to find and qualify local vendors who could offer the needed goods and services. This electrical and communications subcontractor is one of more than 2,200 local businesses hired by the project during the construction phase. |
