Protective Equipment The project requires every worker to wear protective gear appropriate to his or her work. In construction areas the personal protective equipment requirement might include a hard hat to protect against head injury, a breathing mask to protect against dust, eyeglasses or goggles to keep dust or chips out of the eyes, gloves to cover the hands and ear plugs to protect against loud noises. |
