Business Scope
- ExxonMobil has extensive power generation capacity, including investments in 6,883 megawatts in China, and in 5,000 megawatts of capacity at other company manufacturing sites around the world.
- An ExxonMobil power affiliate has a 60-percent interest in three power stations in Hong Kong. CLP Power Hong Kong Limited owns the remaining interest, operates the stations, and owns electricity transmission and distribution systems serving Kowloon and The New Territories. The ExxonMobil affiliate also has a 51-percent interest in a company that has off-take rights from a pumped storage station in Guangdong Province.
- ExxonMobil's power investment company develops power generation and cogeneration opportunities, including many at the company's manufacturing facilities around the world. Generation capacity at these facilities includes 2,000 megawatts of highly efficient cogeneration capacity.
