The Arts play an important role around the world in enriching, inspiring, and educating audiences with diverse backgrounds. In 2006, worldwide contributions supporting arts and cultural programs totaled more than $5.2 million, of which $3.3 million benefited communities in the United States.

Our U.S. Cultural Matching Gift Program encourages and assists employees and retirees in their personal giving to cultural institutions by providing a matching contribution. In 2006, employees and retirees donated more than $2.3 million to cultural and arts organizations, and ExxonMobil Foundation contributed $1.7 million through matching gifts.
