The Hands-On

Challenging assignments may include:

  • researching and developing new grades/types of polymer in a variety of application areas, such as blown film, cast film, extrusion coatings, blow molding and injection molding;
  • researching and developing catalysts and processes involving catalysts and their maintenance;
  • inorganic synthesis, such as conversion, reforming catalysis, crystallography or polymer materials
  • methane conversion, catalysis, metallurgy, spectroscopy, NMR or polymer rheology (Ph.D. candidates only).
