Primary Assignment

Provide support and consulting to various ExxonMobil business units in applying telecom solutions to meet business requirements. Develop skills in all aspects of telecom systems life cycle such as opportunity analysis, system analysis, design, construction, testing, implementation and support.

Examples of Specific Job Responsibilities

As a member of the Telecommunications team you will:

• enhance existing telecom networks across ExxonMobil
• evaluate and install purchased equipment and services
• work with the business to understand their requirements and negotiate scope and terms of delivery
• develop internal service level agreements with customers and internal suppliers
• create test environments as needed in analysis and design
• interface with vendors to select and acquire new products or make changes and resolve problems for existing products
• assist in prioritizing and integrating changes through change management process
• identify future technology opportunities and their application to the business
• travel to customer sites for support and implementation
• trouble-shoot day-to-day problems with telecom networks
• use continuous improvement techniques to analyze performance and reduce defects
• work as part of a global organization and participate as part of international project teams

Qualifications Desired

• Academic
  Bachelor's or Master's degree Engineering, Computer Science, or Math with an interest in a career in Information Technology.
