Primary Assignment
As Drilling Supervisor you will direct well site operations at the well location in support of the Drilling Organization's role to conduct all worldwide oil and gas well drilling with an emphasis on safety, cost and efficiency improvement. You will have the opportunity to travel domestically and internationally to both inland and offshore well site locations. Your work schedule is rotational; that is, you will work onsite from one to four weeks, then will be off for a corresponding amount time. You will work in a team environment and diverse cultures. On-the-job mentorship as well as formal classroom training will be provided on theories and priciples of drilling. Your position is designated safety sensitive and is subject to drug and alcohol testing as required by ExxonMobil's Alcohol and Drug Program.
Examples of Specific Job Responsibilities - Work as part of a Drill Team with engineering staff and materials and contracting personnel to implement the well design
- Analyze and communicate ongoing well-related performance and events and participate in Drill Team efforts to correct and improve performance
- Organize and prioritize well site activities
- Travel to well sites to supervise work being conducted

Qualifications Desired - Academic
Bacholor's or Associate's (with significant oilfield experience) degree in Civil, Construction, Construction Management, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering Technology

Fundamental knowledge of engineering and masic knowledge of math and science (i.e. technical knowledge of hydraulics, fluid flow, fluid mechanics, mechanical design and materials engineering)
Problem-solving skills, analytical ability and mechanical aptitude
Excellent communication and leadership skills
