Primary Assignment

ExxonMobil Gas & Power Marketing's (EMGPM) mission is to maximize the value of natural gas, natural gas liquids, helium, power sales and assets by capitalizing in growing gas markets and adding value from the source to the customer.  EMGPM is seeking outstanding people to manage a specific portfolio of natural gas by interfacing with production, transportation, and commercial team members.

Starting and subsequent positions include exposure to activities other ExxonMobil functional companies (Production, Development, Chemicals) and staff functions (Controllers, Law) to develop broad business knowledge and skills necessary for senior management positions.

Examples of Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize the value of a specific portfolio of natural gas
  • Determine the natural gas available for sale by interfacing with U.S. production organization
  • Recommend sales strategies for value optimization
  • Negotiate with 3rd party transportation and customer contacts to resolve imbalances
  • Real-time problem solving to provide recommendations for natural gas sales in the wake of planned & unplanned production shortfalls (e.g. hurricanes, maintenance, turnarounds, etc.)

Qualifications

Academic

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in any engineering or technical discipline

Other

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong computer based analytical/modeling skills
