The Job

• Provide support of global HP NonStop servers and operating system

• Implement application software changes received from the software vendor and/or assist application support in the HP NonStop (Tandem) environment.
• Configure and manage the system hardware configuration, operating system, and utilities.
• Monitor system and application performance. Perform load balancing , performance tuning and capacity planning.
• Assist to resolve application, hardware and/or operating system problems in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain the Disaster Recovery plan for each application and system.
• Work is normally executed at site but occasional travel to other locations locally and internationally may be needed.

• Possess 2-5 years experience in supporting HP NonStop (Tandem) operating system and utility/support software is required. HP NonStop technical areas include DSM/SCM, operations system upgrade process, PATHWAY, OSS , System Configuration, TACL Macro, SQL/MP database, TMF, RDF, EMS.
• Good knowledge in networking and in TCP/IP will be an added advantage
