The Job

• Support third party software to enable integration into a global standard computing desktop
• Develop, maintain, and enhance internally developed geoscience, engineering, and data integration applications
• Support responsibilities may include:
  • Collaborate with vendors to integrate third party software into a corporate computing environment
  • Configure, and deploy third party software which may include:
    • Configure shared services (web, database, license, etc)
    • Coordinate testing and troubleshooting with domain experts
    • Develop scripts to deliver applications to the UNIX platform
• Development responsibilities may include:
  • Develop applications based on an internally defined architecture and software development best practices
  • Maintain source code, source documentation, and version control
  • Code and debug internally developed applications
  • Develop plug-in modules to third party software

The Person

• Degree in IT or Engineering related curriculum, or equivalent work experience
• Significant experience in application support is required in lieu of a degree
• Support responsibilities may include:
  • Collaborate with vendors to integrate third party software into a corporate computing environment
  • Install, configure, and deploy third party software which may include:
    • Configure shared services (web, database, license, etc)
    • Coordinate testing and troubleshooting with domain experts
    • Develop scripts to deliver applications to the UNIX platform
