The Job

• Handle problems and service requests reported by users of the SAP Financial Processes and modules. This includes break/fix remediation, business consulting and system enhancements.
• Respond to breakdowns of time critical batch jobs in relation to Financial Period closes.
• Use OSS as a source of correction for reported Financial problems.
• Responsible for learning and maintaining SAP configuration settings both standard and customized.
• Provide consultation regarding the technical feasibility of proposed system changes and enhancements.

The Person

• 3 – 5 years experience in SAP.
• Strong understanding of systems controls and SAP technical settings and standards.
• Basic knowledge of financial accounting principles.
• Interest in long term SAP career (minimum 5 years).
• Experience in supporting SAP R3 including version 4.0b and 4.6c with emphasis on FI/CO modules. Experience in Upstream Oil Business with a base understanding of Joint Ventures and Production Sharing Contracts would be preferred.
