The Job
Key responsibilities of the position include but are not limited
to the following:
- Establishing, maintaining and stewarding maintenance programs
for critical instrumentation, controls and safety systems.
- Assisting in the development and review of maintenance and
operating procedures for instrumentation, controls and safety
systems.
- Providing technical support for the maintenance, operation,
and troubleshooting of critical instrumentation, controls and
safety systems at EMEPMI operated offshore platforms.
- Investigating instrumentation, controls and safety system
failures and recommend actions to enhance equipment reliability.
- Executing controls and safety systems upgrade projects.
Qualification /
Experience
The qualified candidate must have a B.Sc. Degree in Electrical
& Electronics Engineering or equivalent and minimum of 7 years
experience in an Instrumentation & Controls role preferably in
the oil and gas or petrochemical environment. Experience in
establishing or overseeing facilities maintenance program for
critical instrumentation, controls and safety devices will be key.
Knowledge and experience in DCS and PLC controls are also essential
traits. Experience in maintenance and support of electrical
equipment and knowledge in usage of SAP R/2 or R/3 or equivalent
would be plus points.
