The Job

• Coordinate and steward EMEPMI seismic processing activities in Malaysia.
• Establish and direct data processing flows, and QC products with seismic data processing contractors to the highest data quality standards.
• Coordinate procurement, contracting and budget recommendations for seismic data processing.
• Perform quantitative seismic analysis, including seismic to well ties, velocity analysis, depth conversion, seismic attribute analysis, seismic inversion and rock physics analysis.
• Liaise with ExxonMobil Geophysicists in Houston to leverage worldwide experience and best practices.
• Work together with project team Geoscientists to ensure technical objectives are achieved.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior Geoscientists in seismic processing theory and applications.

• Geoscience or engineering degree from a recognized university.
• Mature individual with at least 4 years experience processing 2D and 3D seismic data in the oil and gas industry.
• Strong fundamental knowledge of seismic processing theory and concepts, including recent advances in prestack depth migration, multiple removal and signal enhancement.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
