The Job
- Coordinate process safety and risk assessment programs for
EMEPMI offshore operations.
- Lead or facilitate operations, engineering and projects risk
assessments on production facilities and for change management.
- Administer and steward compliance to safety and risk
assessment programs as part of EMEPMI's Operations Integrity
Management System, and report status to management on regular
basis.
- Promote compliance with ExxonMobil and industry safety
standards.
- Incorporate learnings from ExxonMobil and industry incidents
and initiatives into various EMEPMI programs and processes.
- Facilitate training on hazard identification and risk
assessments (example, quantitative / qualitative risk
assessments, HAZOPs).
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.
Qualification /
Experience
- Possess an engineering degree, preferably in chemical or
mechanical engineering from a recognized university.
- Mature individual with at least 5 years experience in oil and
gas industry with broad exposure to field operations and
engineering focused on process safety and risk assessments.
- Experience in offshore safety cases and loss prevention
methodologies are an added advantages.
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
