ExxonMobil's Baton Rouge Chemical Plant Announces Leadership Change
ExxonMobil Chemical today announced that Baton Rouge Chemical Plant Site Manager Bryan Milton will become Executive Assistant to Rex Tillerson, the Chairman and CEO of ExxonMobil Corporation, effective April 1, 2008. Dan Schuessler will replace Milton as plant manager.
A native of Scotland, Milton worked at six different ExxonMobil locations in the U.S. and Europe before serving as manager of ExxonMobil’s Baton Rouge Chemical Plant in April, 2006. During his tenure, the plant achieved notable results in key performance areas, including the Louisiana Chemical Association’s SAFE (Serious About Fostering Excellence) Award. This award annually recognizes the “Best in Louisiana” for safety, environmental performance and community relations. Active in the community, Milton has served on the boards of the Louisiana Chemical Association and Cancer Services of Baton Rouge. In 2007, he was named Chemical and Refinery Unit Chair for the Capital Area United Way’s Campaign Cabinet.
Schuessler, currently on special assignment as ExxonMobil’s Japan Chemicals Advisor, joined Exxon Chemical in 1986 as an engineer and advanced with the company through various engineering and manufacturing assignments. Schuessler graduated from Washington University with a B.S. degree in electrical engineering and holds an M.B.A. from Louisiana State University.
