end products and their uses
Our feedstock - petroleum resin products - comes from the Baton Rouge Chemical Plant (BRCP), located several miles south. The customer applications of the adhesive resins we produce include the following:

  • Pressure-sensitive adhesives (office tape, masking tape, diaper tape)

  • Sealants (insulated glass, caulking and bathroom tiles and fixtures)

  • Miscellaneous adhesives, woodworking adhesive, tires, road markings, textiles, paper sizing, etc.

Resins produced at the plant are packaged in multiple forms and can be shipped via trucks, railroad cars and tank trucks.

Three finishing trains are used to accommodate diverse grade slate and package form requirements.
