Significant work is still needed to better understand the risks and possible consequences of global climate change. For more than two decades, ExxonMobil scientists have carefully studied and worked to increase understanding of the issue of global climate change.

We are also funding climate research programs at top institutions such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Carnegie-Mellon University and the International Energy Agency Greenhouse Gas Research and Development Program.
