These processes remove sulfur from the naphtha, diesel and heating oil. This is performed at high temperatures and pressures by using hydrogen gas and a catalyst (increases the reaction velocity). Sulfur is converted to hydrogen sulphide gas which is sent to the sulfur recovery plant.
