A modern trend is that the industry is placing ever greater weight on preventive maintenance to extend the economic life of equipment and keep costs to a minimum. This calls for a lube oil analysis system which yields reliable results while simplifying the monitoring process on board.

We offer several analysis kits for use on ships. These can be used to keep a particularly careful eye on critical parameters or to monitor alarming trends.

Samples for sending to our laboratory are taken with a sampling kit which comprises bottle, label and packaging for postal dispatch.

Orders for lube oil sample bottles are filled with a complete kit containing 20 bottles, labels and postal packaging. Sample bottles can either be purchased from the nearest ExxonMobil dealer/marine store or ordered from our customer service department.

When ordering sample bottles and dispatching to our laboratory for the first time, you are requested to post or fax us the lubrication chart marked with the equipment you wish to test. The chart should be sent to the marine department on telefax +47 22 66 39 59.

When the registration process has been completed, you will receive an overview of the equipment registered in our analysis system as well as labels for marking the sampling points. You can then start sending us the lube oil samples.
