Usain Bolt to return to ExxonMobil Bislett Games
On June 7th one of the world’s greatest athletes, Usain Bolt, will run 100meters at Bislett Stadium. After the ExxonMobil Bislett Games he will do the race of his life at the 2012 London Olympic Games.
- I look forward to returning to Oslo and Bislett Games. I have so many good memories and performances from this city with the fantastic stadium, Bolt says in a press release from the Bislett Alliance.
When Bolt performed at ExxonMobil Bislett Games for the first time last year, he raced 200 meters at 19,87. This year he will go for 100 meters. Bolt is already a triple World Record holder, an Olympic Champion and a World Champion. The Bislett Alliance is now looking for a worthy competitor.
In addition to the return of Bolt at this year’s event, ExxonMobil is celebrating its 25th anniversary as the title sponsor for the Bislett Games.
- We are proud of this long-term sponsorship. The fact that Usain Bolt and many other top athletes again and again prioritize this event, demonstrates how well positioned the Bislett Games is. We are looking forward to this year’s event very much, says Kristin F. Kragseth, Public & Government Affairs Manager in ExxonMobil Exploration & Production Norway AS.
