We strive to prevent injuries, accidents, and occupational illness through the active participation of every employee and contractor.

We are also committed to continuous efforts to identify and eliminate or manage safety risks associated with all our activities

• Design and maintain facilities, establish management systems, provide training and conduct operations in a manner that safeguards people and property of our own, and of the public

Without good health, one would never be able to fulfil the desire of any achievement.

• Identify and evaluate health risks related to our operations that potentially affect our employees, contractors or the public
• Implement programs and appropriate protective measures to control such risks, including appropriate monitoring of our potentially affected employees

Nobody Gets Hurt: Our belief

It is our belief that injury, as well as incident, is preventable.

Working hand in hand, with  togetherness of all of us at the refinery, our vision is to achieve a truly injury free work place where none of us, neither employees, contractors, nor the communities around us would be injured by any activity we do.

Through our continuous effort in training, sharing experience, Hazard recognition skill development, encouragement of safe behavior, identify and improve undesirable behavior,  we strongly believe that we can create a “nobody gets hurt” work place for everyone

Alert:  A systematic approach to improve our safety behavior

“ALERT” is our systematic approach to improve our safe behavior to work.   It includes a simple, yet powerful concept of “Thinking Before Acting” to engage our mind and our action,  a safety observation process when a peer will be observing a peer to identify and reflect desirable behavior, and a Job Safety Analysis process to plan ahead all necessary measures to ensure a task will be executed safely

Friend Helps Friend:  caring each other

This initiative is in fact an extended version of  “Think Before Act” concept, in other word, one might argue this is the mini version of a safety observation process.  Both are correct.

Our Refinery encourage our employees and contractors to spare their eyes for their colleagues . If they find the friend is working in unsafe manner , they will let their friend know It is thus our simple tool to promote both safe & friendly work environment.

Emergeny Response:  Ready to act, anytime

Esso Sriracha Refinery is prepared to response in case of emergencies with our own fully equipped  facilities . Oilspill response facilites, and fire fighting facilities.

Our fire crews are trained regularly and participated by the Laem Chabang Fire Brigade.

Our fire training ground is second to none in this region.

Regularly conducted emergency drills and simulations is programmed to ensure readiness and seek continuous improvement in handling possible emergencies.
