A summer internship at ExxonMobil gives you a unique insight into the world's largest publicly traded international oil and gas company and helps you develop your personal skills towards being a more employable graduate. The opportunities available make it both a valuable and highly enjoyable experience.
Working in Human Resources I undertook a diversity review of ExxonMobil in the UK and Ireland and a review of the graduate development programme. These projects are very relevant to ExxonMobil from a business and legal point of view and enabled me to learn quickly about the Company and human resources as a function. They gave me an opportunity to undertake work of a graduate level and develop my skills accordingly.
Work is an important part of an internship at ExxonMobil but it is also an opportunity to meet new people, network, and make new friends with colleagues and interns through team building and social events. ExxonMobil makes you feel valued as an employee through the events it organises and the facilities it provides, its workplaces have an incredible community spirit.
Working with ExxonMobil for a summer has been, for me, a great experience; one where I have learnt a lot, developed my personal skills and met some fantastic people.
