ExxonMobil Aviation is international by definition and is the world's largest marketer of aviation fuel, providing solutions to a variety of customers from global airlines to armed forces, private jets and local flying clubs.  The business is headquartered in Brussels and has its main global office in Leatherhead, UK with subsidiary offices around the world.  In addition we have a presence at over 500 airports around the globe.  You would expect to be based in Leatherhead upon joining us.
 
As a new graduate you will be part of a multicultural team supporting our business in the European region, implementing our market strategies and undertaking business critical improvement projects.  To respond to the needs of this unique business, we are looking for numerate graduates who speak fluent English and preferably at least one additional European language.

Location: Home Office or Leatherhead
Scope of the role

You will be working as part of a wide and diverse team in the pursuit of enhancing life on the move for our customers.  A comprehensive training program is provided to equip you with the right skills and knowledge to really make a difference to our business and customers.  Initially this could involve you becoming one of our Territory Managers, responsible for managing the day-to-day sales and marketing operations of a number of our retail stores and leading your own team of managers. 
 
Alternatively you could be involved in working with our retail support team to manage one of our many projects designed to enhance the way we do business. 

You will find all the support you need from both an experienced team around you and the professional training provided by internal and external courses, as well as the ExxonMobil Graduate Development Programme at the London Business School.

Current operational projects

We are continually developing new and innovative ways to meet our customer expectations. Our award winning convenience store format 'On the Run', continues to be our platform for new and exciting customer offers.  With over 100 On the Run stores in the UK & Ireland we have numerous projects underway to continually improve our operations.

To support these projects we use the latest technology to further improve our operational effectiveness and customer service.  Examples include a project that introduces a new state-of-the-art cash management system for our stores or installing new technology that helps us minimise energy usage.

Typical career path


On joining, you can expect your first couple of positions to include an operational role such as a Territory Manager and analysis-based project work.  An assignment in our Retail Support Centre in Manchester or our European headquarters in Brussels, where you could be over-seeing pan-European projects could follow thereafter.  Virtual roles, based in the UK but working with our European affiliates, are also available to further broaden your skills and knowledge.
