The ExxonMobil Refining and Chemical Placement takes place at Fawley near Southampton from July of each year.

This scheme is open to penultimate year students studying Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.

As part of the placement, not only will you have fantastic fun and meet lots of new people, but you will also gain a valuable insight into how an engineering organisation works.

You will have a real project to undertake whilst you are on your placement, and can expect to be a member of a social committee responsible for either organising a ball, outings or keeping a video diary of your time with ExxonMobil. You will also go on an outward bounds course in the New Forest.
