The benefits and training that you can expect as a Summer Vacation Student are outlined below.
 
Salaries
Salaries for undergraduates are currently £22,400 pro rata. These salaries are generally reviewed every summer and therefore you could expect to receive a salary increase before you start work!
 
Other Benefits include:
  • We seek to assist with securing suitable accommodation. For example in 2007 Students placed in Fawley stayed in student accommodation together over their eight weeks.
  • Students will accrue holiday during their time with us and can either take the holiday or receive payment for it at the end of their placement
  • Have access to the ExxonMobil Share Scheme. This scheme works on a two for one basis upto 2.5% of your salary.
  • Will have access to a Pension scheme.
  • At a number of our locations we have subsidised gym and dining facilities
  • We have a whole range of social clubs open to all employees.
Training
  • Real projects  and responsibilities
  • Training -  Outdoors team building course, IT, time management, interview training, report writing, presentation skills.
