Save More Than Fuel Esso service stations are taking part in a consumer awareness campaign on the efficient use of transport fuels. Oil companies in Europe have joined forces for the campaign, which spans over 45,000 service stations across 29 European countries. Organised through the European Petroleum Industry Association (EUROPIA), the initiative is in line with the European Union’s commitment to reduce CO2 emissions and focus on energy efficiency. Informative documents are being distributed to road users at service stations and a website has been created to help consumers understand how to drive more efficiently. The ultimate objective is to encourage behavioural change to “save more than fuel”. Read more>>

2007 Corporate Citizenship Report 22 May 2008 -- Exxon Mobil Corporation improved its environmental, economic and social performance while continuing to supply energy necessary for economic growth and improved living standards, the corporation said today in its 2007 Corporate Citizenship Report. The report details how ExxonMobil reduced greenhouse gas emissions, led the industry in worker safety and oil-spill prevention, and contributed more than eight times its earnings - a record $336 billion - to economies around the world through taxes and purchases of goods and services.
