The Possibilities
Upon
joining ExxonMobil’s Land Skill Area, you will play an important role in
helping EM manage its extensive land assets and mineral rights throughout the
United States. You will be given the opportunity to contribute, learn, and
advance your professional development in this Skill Area.
Entry level opportunities may exist as a Land Representative or Property Title
Analyst with a Bachelor's degree (Energy Management or Petroleum Land
Management preferred), Law, or MBA.
The Hands-On
As a member of ExxonMobil’s Land
Skill Area, you will be exposed to diverse and challenging assignments
relating to a variety of issues. As a Land Representative, you will: negotiate
and draft many different types of contracts; settle claims; steward and
resolve a variety of land issues; and work with the world’s finest
geoscientists, reservoir engineers and accountants. You will be exposed to all
aspects of the Oil and Gas business by your participation on Asset Level
Business Teams. As a Property Title Analyst, you will: analyze many different
types of contracts; provide guidance to Land Representatives, and field
operations personnel; and maintain current understanding of laws and
regulations affecting mineral rights and property ownership in all
jurisdictions where EM operates. Additionally, you will work division of
interest issues to ensure the timely and accurate payment of royalties by EM.
Additionally, we will train you so that you will have the skills necessary to
be successful in your job assignment. We will also provide you a mentor to
help you understand the business functions of internal EM groups. You will be
provided challenging assignments in a nurturing work environment where you
will be interacting with skilled professionals on a daily basis.
