Primary Assignment
As
Drilling Engineer you will plan and design oil and gas wells in support of the
Drilling Organization's role to conduct all worldwide oil and gas well
drilling with an emphasis on safety, cost and efficiency improvement. You will
have the opportunity to travel domestically and internationally to inland and
offshore well site locations. You will work in a team environment and with
diverse cultures. On-the-job mentorship as well as both informal and formal
classroom training will be provided on the theories, principles and practices
of drilling.
Examples of Specific
Job Responsibilities
Work as part of a Drill Team with engineering staff and materials and
contracting personnel to implement the well design
Monitor the actual drilling phase of the well with emphasis on cost and
efficiency tracking
Provide engineered solutions to problems, which arise in real time
Travel occasionally (10-15%) to well sites to work with operations personnel
and to monitor work being conducted

Qualifications Desired
Academic Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical, Civil,
Electrical, Environmental, Materials, Mechanical, or Petroleum Engineering.
Other Valid Driver License and safe driving record; ability to
interact effectively in a diverse team environment; ability to effectively
communicate technical data.
