Primary Assignments
You will be part of team of process control specialists working in support of
the refining of crude oil and the manufacture of petrochemicals.
You will apply your Electrical Engineering and project management skills in a
team environment, working with experienced technical and process personnel, to
solve problems involving process control systems, safety systems, and
instrumentation. This includes project development, R&D, systems life-cycle
support, operations support and continuous improvement initiatives.
Examples of Job Responsibilities
Initiate, develop and implement projects required to upgrade instrumentation
and control systems to improve equipment reliability and performance, and to
expand plant capacity.
Help sites plan and execute key maintenance activities to support
instrumentation repair and preventive maintenance activities.
Interface with site engineering group on larger projects and maintenance
turnarounds.
Onsite training assignments at manufacturing sites all over the globe.
Search for opportunities to utilize new instrumentation and control system
technologies.

Qualifications Desired Academic Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering
Other Sound reasoning ability, good communication skills, high
level of motivation and initiative, strong desire to acquire new knowledge and
skills.
