Community Relations
We care about our neighbors and the places we all call home. That's why On the Run stores support local schools and family efforts to improve educational opportunities.
Supporting Neighborhood Schools

As Exxon and Mobil retailers, On the Run store owners have a unique opportunity to support local schools, through grants from the ExxonMobil Educational Alliance Program. Under the program, a store owner identifies a neighborhood school that could best benefit from assistance. In 2004, retailers chose 4,000 schools to recieve $500 grants. Funds helped schools buy new books and innovative computer software, reading, math, and technology programs. Since its inception, the program has contributed $11.5 million to K-12 educational institutions across the nation.

Supporting Families Saving for College

Upromise is a loyalty program that helps consumers save for college when they make purchases with hundreds of leading companies. Consumers can sign up for Upromise for free at www.upromise.com and are then eligible to earn college savings rewards when they make gasoline purchases at On the Run sites in the U.S. ExxonMobil is the only fuels company that has teamed up with Upromise to contribute toward a fuel customer's college savings. Tools to help On the Run retailers promote Upromise can be found at www.exxonmobil.com/upromise.
