We have a responsibility to surrounding communities and the environment for managing our water use, especially in areas where water availability is limited. ExxonMobil continually seeks ways to reduce water use and preserve water quality through the design and operation of our facilities, recycling and reuse, and measures to prevent water pollution. In 2007, our operations had a net consumption of 323 million cubic meters of fresh water.
