Video: Rotterdam refinery expansion
In June 2016, ExxonMobil broke ground on a major expansion project at its Rotterdam refinery in the Netherlands. The investment is a defining moment for the company and reinforces its commitment to the base oils industry. In just the past few months, the team has seen the delivery of the vacuum fractionation tower and the three main reactors for the new hydrocracker, and the expansion is currently on time and on track for startup in 2018.
