response to covid-19

ExxonMobil has initiated plans to protect against COVID-19

During the unprecedented global outbreak of COVID-19, the health and safety of our employees, delivering agents, vessel operators and customers remains our highest priority.

We are working hard to ensure continuity of our operations and to make products available both safely and timely from refineries, terminals and through delivery operations.

We understand that there are many concerns about the spread of COVID-19 and it is imperative that we all take action to contain it. ‘Social distancing’ is proven to be one of the most effective measures for preventing the spread of COVID-19. As a result, our barge crews have been instructed to avoid close contact between themselves, the crews of receiving vessels and surveyors or agents.

Appropriate safety measures will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and will be mutually agreed by the delivery party and the crew of the receiving vessel.

We thank you for your support and collaboration in helping to find ways to maintain the health and safety of all involved. For more information, please click here
