Prowax 710 is a low-range melting point product in the Prowax line of petroleum slack and scale waxes. It is a translucent crystalline material in the solid state and a straw yellow-to-amber, clear liquid when molten. It is derived from petroleum via a carefully controlled refining process. Prowax 710 is comprised of a mixture of straight chain normal paraffin and branched, iso-paraffin hydrocarbons.
ExxonMobil waxes are produced and controlled according to the ExxonMobil Product Quality Management System, EN ISO 9000 or equivalent standard.
Prowax 710 can be used in the following applications subject to applicable laws and regulations in each jurisdiction*:
- Wax emulsions
- Wax blends

Note 1: Products are certified on release to meet the values specified. Actual values may deviate within the established reproducibility of the test method specified.
Note 2: For purpose of determining conformance with specification, observed or calculated values shall be rounded off to the nearest unit in the last significant digit used in expressing the limiting value in accordance to the ASTM E 29 method
