Mobil℠ Oil Drain Optimization Program helps PT Bangka Jaya Line extend oil drain intervals by up to 2 times

PT Bangka Jaya Line was exploring the opportunity to extend the oil drain interval for their cargo vessel named KM Sentosa 18, powered by DAIHATSU 6DKM-26L engine. The engine had an oil drain interval of 500 hours at that time.

ExxonMobil Marine Limited, in collaboration with local distributor PT Supra Indolub Prakasa (SIP), recommended PT Bangka Jaya Line to switch to Mobilgard™ 312. During the trial period, PT SIP carried out regular used oil analysis to monitor the performance of Mobilgard 312 on the engine to establish its optimum oil drain interval.

Mobilgard 312 successfully helped extend oil drains interval from 500 hours up to 1000 hours, ultimately increasing vessel sailing time and reducing their total cost of ownership.
